International leading auction marketplaces have programmed an intense sales week in this pre-festive end of year season and for the occasion, live sales sessions are reviving!


From the Haute Joaillerie sales in Switzerland presenting exceptional historical pieces such a pair of bracelets of royal provenance transmitted by the latest queen of France to the dispersions of major impressionist, modern and contemporary artworks collections in North America, the global auction scene turns out to be as intense and consistent as appreciated.


In the portfolio of businessman and philanthropist Edwin Cox, chefs d’oeuvre from the Impressionist period including paintings by Monet, Degas, Renoir, Pissaro, Cézanne, Caillebotte Sisley, Redon, Vuillard, Van Gogh and whose cumulate estimations of $200 million. Some unseen artworks on the markets, incl. the second, since World War II and from an undisputed provenance.


As a complement, the Macklowe collection, described as "the most expensive private collection in the world" with end-of-year sale session estimates valued between $400 and $600 million, presents masterpieces of modern and contemporary art with remarquable artworks from ultra “bankable” artists such as Giacometti, Rothko, Tombly, Richter, Koons, Stingel, Warhol, Picasso.


On these occasions, the leading companies of the second market have offered to renew live sale sessions for which the agency has published updated selections of valuables in Impressionnist Art, Modern and Contemporary art and High Jewellery and proposes dedicated services to individuals and specialized business entities.
